Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden
Open daily from 8:30 to 16:30.
Botanic garden with themed trails through the gardens.
Large glass house complex with 11 different sections, amongst them: tropical rainforest, orchids and ferns.
Mae Sa Waterfall
Open daily from 9:00 to 16:30.
Waterfall with 10 levels. Best in rainy season (June to September). Good for hiking, swimming and a picnic.
Phoenix Adventure Park
Open daily from 9:00 to 17:00.
High rope courses, climbing and ziplines. Do it yourself, for active, sportive people. Three packages available. A la carte restaurant.
Maerim Elephant Sanctuary
Open daily.
Feed, wash, swim and play with elephants. Half day and full day packages available, lunch included. Requires advance booking.
Tiger Kingdom
Open daily from 9:00 to 17:00.
Touch and be close to tigers, and have your picture taken. Tickets for small, medium and big tigers, and combinations.
Pongyang Jungle Coaster & zipline
Open daily from 8:30 to 17:00 (Sat, Sun 8:30 to 17:30).
Jungle Coaster bob sledge, velocity up to 40 km/h. Zip-lines, abseiling lines and bridges, 3 packages available. Packages include lunch.
Elephant PooPooPaper Park
Open daily from 8:30 to 17:15.
Learn about elephants, papermaking (hands on), and saving the planet. Gift shop with eco friendly products.
Siam Insect Zoo
Open daily from 9:00 to 17:00.
Museum and live insects, including lots of butterflies.
Tard Mork Waterfall
Open daily from 9:00 to 16:30.
Beautiful waterfall. Best in rainy season (June to September).
Doi Mon Cham
Beautiful mountain views with flowers, strawberries, coffee and food.
Doi Mon Cham and the Tard Mork and Mae Sa waterfalls can be combined in a beautiful 3 hour (40 km) scenic round trip by car or motorcycle.
Dara Pirom Palace Museum
Open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00.
Old teak wood palace of a Lanna princess and consort of the Thai king.
Wat Pa Dara Phirom
Open daily from 9:00 to 17:00.
Beautiful temple buildings, set in well kept grounds.
X-Centre Extreme Sports
Open daily from 9:00 to 18:00.
Bungee jump, go-karts (10 min.), off road buggy and ATV tours (1 or 2 hours), off road trail bike tours (1 or 2 hours).
ATV – Chiang Mai Tours
Open daily.
ATV mountain view tour (3 hours), and for experienced drivers: off road tours, ATV (3 hours) or buggy (1 or 2 hours).
Maerim Shooting Range
Open daily from 9:00 to 18:00.
Choice of arms: pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc. Professional instructors.
Pong Kwao Hot Spring
Open daily from 9:00 to 18:00.
30 km from the resort, 1 hour drive. Open air baths and private rooms available. Towel and swimsuit supplied.
Mae Taeng attractions (36 km north of Mae Rim)
Buatong Sticky Waterfall
Open daily 8:00-17:00.
A waterfall that can be climbed; it is not slippery because of a special mineral deposit.
Wat Ban Den
Open daily 7:00-18:00.
An impressive large newly built monastery complex.
Maetaeng Elephant Park & Clinic
Open daily.
Program with elephant show (1 hour), elephant ride (25 min.), ox cart ride (20 min.), river rafting (40 min.), and a free lunch takes about 3.5 hours. Additionally, a Long Neck village can be visited.
Rantong
Open daily.
Care: ½ day and full day; feeding, walking and bathing the elephants. Half day morning programs can be combined with ½ day whitewater rafting or ATV rides. Requires advance booking.
